Master Carpenter

Katherine learned to be a master carpenter for set build via trade, starting a sunny day in June and going to the local theater troupe in her hometown sent her down the rabbit hole.

Four years later of hard work later she is now a candite for Master Carpenter on the roster for her local troupe and moving into the dance captain position as well.

Seussical the Musical

In her first year as master carpenter Katherine was in charge of Seussical the musical under the guidance of Matthew Harding. She up took the Master Carpenter title sending out jobs to her crew and overseeing the whole build with problem-solving, and fine detail the cast enjoyed even if the audience didn't see it, creating a set that was engaging to the audience and cast.

Twelfth Night

In her four year of work one of the last apprenticing shows she was on was Twelfth Night working with a very small crew consisting of Family and the regular crew workers. Bringing to life the colorful town that was able to have live music on stage, a functioning bar and mini store that allowed for audience members to come on stage before and after the show.

Mamma Mia the Musical

First ever you set build she ever did, Katherine along with her new mentor at the time Matt Harding worked alongside family and crew full of only women to build this amazing set that featured a turning two story tower. Katherine also found family in the local theatre troupe Mill Race Theatre Co.
